摘要: Observation of cell membrane buckling and folding in micropipette aspiration experiments was used to evaluate the bending rigidity red blood membrane. The suction pressure required buckle surface initially found be about one-half two-thirds that caused fold move up pipet. A simple analytical model for a disk supported at inner outer radii correlates well with observed pressures vs. pipet radii. is predicted increase inverse proportion cube radius; also, depends inversely on radial distance toroidal rim cell, normalized by radius. As such, 1 X 10(-4) cm diam would four times greater than 2 This behavior experimentally. Based analysis data, or curvature elastic modulus calculated 1.8 10(-12) dyn-cm.
