摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the morphological diversity among members of gastrointestinal microflora. The tracts mammals and birds harbor indigenous microorganisms a variety forms. Of eukaryotic found in mammalian avian tracts, only yeasts genus Candida are that associate with epithelial surfaces. Microorganisms may surfaces any area tract. Depending upon animal species involved, be on stomach, small intestine, or large intestine. In animals one species, morphologies tract differ from those organisms another area. Areas comparable locations different have communities microbial cells similar morphologies. However, areas diverse differing certain particular habitats because they best fitted, genetically biochemically, to fill niches habitats.
