摘要: An estimation of the predatory efficiency nymphs five coexisting odonate species Aeshna flavifrons, Coenagrion kashmirum, Ischnura forcipata, Rhinocypha ignipennis and Sympetrum durum using fourth-instar larvae Culex quinquefasciatus as prey, was made under laboratory semi-field conditions. The daily feeding rate varied among species, at mean number IV instars Cx. killed per day, ranged between 14 64 (64 mosquito for I. 57 A. 45 R. ignipennis, 25 S. C. kashmirum). prey consumption linearly related to predators available but inversely with space. It also noted that rates significantly dark light conditions, in all species. presence conditions lowered larval density dipper samples after 15 days from introduction, followed by a significant increase withdrawal nymphs. results present observations are suggestive use temporary pools or larger habitats where they can be potential biological resource regulating population vector pest mosquitoes.
