摘要: Anaplasma platys was first identified and described in North America as a Rickettsia-like, platelet-specific organism dogs with infectious canine cyclic thrombocytopenia. In Europe, A. has so far mainly been for some Mediterranean countries. Here, we describe case of infection dog from Romania, confirmed by PCR. Additionally, the had co-infection Hepatozoon canis. To best our knowledge, this is Romania H. canis altogether. Both pathogens should be considered possible disease agents suffering associated tick bite south-eastern Europe.
