摘要: Although galanin has been shown to increase GLUT4 expression in the cardiac muscle of rats, there is no literature available about effect GalR1 on type 2 diabetic rats. The aim this study was determine whether intracerebroventricular injection agonist M617 would elevate rats tested were divided into four groups: from healthy and drug groups injected with 10nM/kg/d 5μl artificial cerebrospinal fluid for 21days, while control received vehicle injections. blood samples analyzed glucose insulin concentration. Cardiac collected processed determination mRNA protein levels. present findings showed that fasting levels both treatment lower compared each control. decreased Moreover, content higher increased group. These observations suggest M617, acting through its central GalR1, can promote enhance Central may play a significant role regulation metabolic homeostasis
