摘要: Abstract Today the concept of net zero-energy building (Net ZEB) is well-known and widespread in scientific community. Nevertheless, how to effectively transfer this into market not as much widespread, especially Mediterranean regions. In context, paper aims at identifying a series cost-effective technical solutions, supported also by construction details, which can be usefully adopted define standard for low-rise residential Net ZEBs mild countries. The study refers terraced housing, it represents one most diffuse type currently built southern Europe. results show that with suggested solutions – such increased insulation, use low-emissive glazing window shadings, free-cooling through natural ventilation, solar thermal collectors Domestic Hot Water common housing significantly decrease energy needs reach ZEB target using only limited amount PV panels. Due diffusion type, solution here discussed extended significant portion real estate considered design future
