摘要: With nuanced perspective and detailed case studies, Due Process of Lawmaking explores the law lawmaking in United States, South Africa, Germany, European Union. This comparative work deals broadly with public policymaking legislative executive branches. It frames inquiry through three principles legitimacy: democracy, rights, competence. Drawing on insights positive political economy, authors explicate ways which courts uphold these different systems. Judicial review American presidential system suggests lessons for parliamentary systems Germany while experience government yields potential into reform lawmaking.
