摘要: Wolbachia are a group of intracellular, inherited endosymbiotic bacteria infecting wide range insects that associated with several different reproductive phenotypes in their hosts. We measured the infection status Asiatic rice borer, Chilo suppressalis (Walker) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae), from 23 locations China by sequencing wsp gene. Our results showed C. populations differed widely rate. was not detected 13 geographically separate populations. In 10 for which infections were detected, highest rates ≈40%, Guiyang, Xiangyin, Xuzhou, and Yangzhou Phylogenetic analysis variation gene six strains they belonged to either supergroup A (two populations) or B (four populations). The phylogenetic relatedness among sequences found high, these also closely related other species. This could be an evidence horizontal transference.
