摘要: The rudist bivalve genus Gorjanovicia Pols yak, 1967 from Istria, Croatia, is currently known the Co- niacian ⁄ Maastrichtian of peri-Adriatic and Balkan regions includes 23 nominal species, defined mainly on shell ornamentation radial bands. However, a re-apprai- sal 'Radiolites' endrissi Boehm, 1927 shows type species Gorjanovicia, G. costata 1967, to be junior synonym Boehm's which thus takes priority as Gorjanovicia. Our revision 24 described literature based analysis set 21 characters that include dimensions, shape right valve. Sixteen variables are combinations these sub- jected multiple correspondence (MCA) Hill Smith (HSA), with cluster analysis, has allowed us distinguish three taxonomic groups, each by key species: (Boehm), ugarensis Slis ykovicand kvarneri yak. Cluster identifies groups associated suggests limited number may used recognize foregoing entities. MCA performed four (the shapes anterior band, poster- ior band interband width relative posterior band) reveals same in 16 variables. We conclude question specific diagnostic thereby represented just endrissi, kvarneri, instead literature. Specific assemblages peri-Adriatic, pre-Apulian Western Pontides nearly identical, pattern free faunal exchanges within distributional area Gorja- novicia. palaeobiogeographical distribution corresponds relatively narrow palaeolatitudinal range subtropical portion eastern Mediterranean Tethys.
