摘要: The coastal area off Helsinki in the Gulf of Finland has both a complex shoreline and bathymetry which makes modelling wave field especially challenging. Experience shown, that these types areas generally benefits from use high-resolution model grid. Even though is very sensitive to resolution, this not necessarily true for boundary used force nested outside was modelled with third generation spectral WAM, using 0.1 nmi This grid forced fields two different resolutions (1 4 nmi), difference significant height inside due change discussed. In comparison coarser grid, finer 1 version able higher accuracy near coastline. led an improved also. However, differences archipelago at buoy sites were insignificant.
