摘要: Both machine breakdowns and interstage storage can significantly affect the efficiency of a production line. In this paper we use an exact analytic model to conduct detailed study how these two factors throughput Based on empirical results, simple heuristic method is given estimate amount space required offset negative effect breakdowns. The results provide useful guidelines for designing or analysing line systems.
