摘要: Building highly optimized embedded systems demands hardware/software (HW/SW) co-design. A key challenge in co-design is the design of HW/SW interfaces, which often a bottleneck. We propose novel approach to interface based on concept bridge component. Bridge components fill semantic gap by propagating events across boundary and raise abstraction level for designing interfaces abstracting processors, buses, OS, etc. system platforms. are specified platform-specific Specification Languages (BSLs) compiled BSL compilers simulation deployment. have applied our two different Case studies shown that greatly simplify component-based speed can be improved three orders magnitude simulating transaction level.
