摘要: Informed consent is a legal and ethical requirement of most research in human beings, but obtaining proof illiterate populations can prove problematic. We used audiovisual documentation oral (video audiotape recording photography), new method informed designed for populations, the Guarani Indians Project, genetic study Paraguayan Indians. obtained from 42 about 100 potential participants. believe that our procedure allowed more than half participants to exercise their freedom refusal. propose include this as standard clinical an alternative written signed consent.
