Approaching ankle joint by anterior arthrotomy, fracture line can visualized accurately manipulated reduced. However, access malleolus for insertion fixation devices an incision. We have found that after arthrotomy reduction, rigid placed percutaneously medially or, exceptional cases, laterally under fluoroscopic control. The physis talocrural seen avoided growing child. Thirteen cases fixed this method are reported. At 12.2-month average follow-up, clinical results were excellent. There no instances degenerative changes but one growth derangement.
