摘要: Abstract The chemical delivery system (CDS) approach, a recently developed procedure conceived to enhance the specific central nervous (CNS) uptake of drugs, has been applied several antiepileptic agents. CDSs based on dihydropyridine∌pyridinium salt type redox targetors, reversibly linked drug, were designed, synthesized and tested for some traditional (phenytoin, valproate) potential (stiripentol) as well compounds (GABA, adenosine) with important roles in epileptogenesis. Physicochemical, vitro stability, vivo tissue distribution, activity toxicity studies performed new derivatives. results these investigations indicated that selected possessed properties required delivering drugs CNS. In experiments improved brain enhanced pharmacologie examined cases. On other hand, no toxic side effects registered during studies. Properly could therapeutic indexes anticonvulsant drugs.
