摘要: Reconstructive mitral valve operation is now the preferred technique for surgical treatment of prolapse posterior leaflet due to degenerative disease. Systolic anterior motion with left ventricular outflow tract obstruction has been observed after such repair, an incidence ranging from 4.5% 10%. In attempt reduce this complication, Carpentier devised a new technique: sliding plasty leaflet. We report on 48 patients who underwent procedure between July 1990 and 1992. One patient died perioperatively (2.1%). All other were able be discharged ninth postoperative day. M-mode, two-dimensional, Doppler echocardiography before discharge. Forty-one (85%) had no evidence regurgitation, whereas 7 (15%) showed mild insufficiency. Left systolic was never detected. believe that repair safe seems effective in achieving decreased obstruction.
