摘要: Abstract Phase-pure anatase titanium dioxide (A-TiO 2 ) with high thermal stability is synthesized by a microwave-assisted hydrothermal (MAH) method. The samples are characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM), N adsorption–desorption isotherms, and photoluminescence spectra (PL) analysis. photo-electrochemical responses examined via linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), intensity-modulated photocurrent spectroscopy (IMPS), photovoltage (IMVS). photocatalytic activity of TiO nanoparticles (NPs) has been confirmed through the methylene blue (MB) de-colorization under simulated sunlight. results show that as-prepared nanocrystals possess for anatase-to-rutile phase transformation up to 900 °C. phase-pure A-TiO annealed at 800 °C exhibits much higher rate than commercially available (Degussa P25) powders. this sample due its enhanced crystallinity, leading lower electron/hole pair recombination larger density in comparison all other P25. 900 °C shows highest specific on MB de-colorization, demonstrating importance crystalline phase.
