摘要: Introduction—Bleeding is the major complication associated with warfarin therapy. Some antidepressants are also increased bleeding risk. Warfarin and used frequently in combination, but it unclear whether concomitant use increases risk of beyond that alone. The primary goal this study was to determine an antidepressant for outcomes compared secondary characterize warfarintreated patients taking one specific class antidepressant, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Materials Methods—This a retrospective, single-center, warfarin-treated prescribed (n=46) not (n=54) antidepressant. Medical records over six months were reviewed INR values, medical history, type incidence, hospitalization due bleeding. Patients included group if therapy consistently period 6 control warfarin. Results—Use any incidence or during 6-month period. However, SSRI increase event (OR 2.6, 95% CI, 1.01–6.4 p=0.04). Use remained significant predictor after accounting other factors Conclusion—This data suggest important clarify interaction between SSRIs regard given high frequency their use.
