摘要: Many automotive components of gears, power transmissions, and engines are made chrome molybdenum steel, which has high wear resistance. The life automobiles depends on the such components. In order to extend components, it is important know mechanism metallic parts. studies have been conducted mechanisms. Recently, we found a unique crystalline structure that cannot be explained by established metallurgical theory in course transmission electron microscope (TEM) examination grain structures 0.2 1 μm deep from sliding surfaces tested part. original body-centered cubic (BCC) crystal changed very fine face-centered (FCC) region just under surfaces.
