摘要: We report the results of microstructural characterizations and micro-texture analysis a lightweight austenitic steel deformed at high strain rate (1200 s−1) using split Hopkinson pressure bar. Formation adiabatic shear bands (ASB) plastic deformation mechanisms within neighboring grains are investigated by high-resolution electron backscatter diffraction (HR-EBSD). HR-EBSD reveals formation athermal e-martensite ά-martensite bands, resulting in brittle intersection structure. Crack initiation propagation is seen The thermally induced follows Shoji-Nishiyama crystallographic orientation relationship with parent austenite phase, while shows Burgers e-martensite. A detailed examination depicts presence twins adjacent to ASB. Furthermore, strain-induced e ά martensite formed variants discussed ASB grains.
