摘要: In the US transporation sector uses two-thirds of country’s total oil consumption. order to minimize consumption in this there is a need investigate alternate sources energy. Biodiesel possible alternative conventional diesel. has many characteristics similar petroleum based diesel and can be blended with petroleum. However biodiesel‘s differences fuel properties including viscosity, bulk modulus, density, energy content have significant impacts on engine performance parameters like BSFC thermal efficiency. As availability biodiesel increases, for engines capable running various mixtures will required. Similar flex-fuel ethanol vehicles, control systems aftertreatment detect compensate type. work, soy B100 an ultra low sulfur were tested high-speed directinjection high pressure common rail four-cylinder 1.9 L engine. An internally developed strategy allowed real-time calibration testing independent start injection, injection duration, pressure, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) level. Both fuels studied under varied timing (0°BTDC 12°BTDC increments 3°) EGR percentages 0 10%. Analysis was performed determine Torque, Brake
