摘要: Aim To reveal systemic chemotherapy outcomes and the suitable first-line regimens for elderly (≥75 years) metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patients. Methods We retrospectively compared between adult (≤74 patients with mCRC who were treated January 2007 December 2012 at Hiroshima University Hospital analyzed of after treatment single-agent oral 5-fluorouracil (oral FC) or intravenous combination (IV CC) as regimen. Results A total 140 enrolled. The median age was 60 years, to 77 years patients. There no significant differences two groups in terms patient characteristics stage progression. Overall survival (OS) (median, 20.7 vs 26.5 months; P = 0.65) progression-free (PFS) 11.0 9.8 0.36) did not differ significantly Among patients, PFS 10.3 months vs. 11.8 0.85) incidence grade 3 adverse events (22.2% 44.4%; 0.31) similar FC IV CC groups.
