摘要: Sensilla on legs and ovipositor of the moth Ostrinia nubilalis were investigated by light scanning electron microscopy. The is composed two papillae densely packed with medium length mechanoreceptor sensilla (MRb: 80–160 μm, n=420−460). Long (MRa: 250–300 n=20−24) contact chemoreceptors (CRa: 30–40 n=20−28) are evenly distributed at periphery these papillae. Legs support (CRa), scattered among scales. pretarsus structure each leg includes a single chemoreceptor (125 μm) inserted dorsally. fifth tarsomere bears ventral area without scales which disposed in parallel rows (CRb: 40–60 μm). A sexual dimorphism was found number density (females: mean = 5.3, SD=1.0; males: 3.3, SD=0.7), size sensory field. possible involvement structures oviposition site selection discussed.
