On the selection of optimum thermodynamic conditions for the GAs process

摘要: In this work, the new definition of relative molar volume change as recently proposed by de la Fuente Badilla et al. [J. Supercrit. Fluids 17 (2000) 13] has been further investigated. Simulation results show that, according to definition, each solvent shows a distinguished behavior for given anti-solvent. addition, it is shown that pressure, at which curve minimum, exactly coincides with pressure almost all solute precipitates in very narrow window. The also indicate thermodynamically suitable operating temperature should be close, but below critical Based on these findings, thermodynamic strategy select proper combination solvent-anti-solvent and optimum conditions well.
