Effective vaccination against papilloma development by immunization with L1 or L2 structural protein of cottontail rabbit papillomavirus.

摘要: Immunization of rabbits with either L1, the major structural protein, or L2, a minor protein cottontail rabbit papillomavirus (CRPV), protected against challenge virus. Neutralizing antibodies were elicited by both L1 and L2 trpE fusion proteins. Neutralization anti-L1 serum, however, was more efficient than anti-L2 serum. In contrast, when tested on Western blots immune response to stronger L1. Rabbits also CRPV infection immunization expressing recombinant vaccinia Sera from two three immunized virus negative but all positive in ELISA's nondenatured immunoprecipitations. The results suggest that viral proteins, merit consideration development vaccine papillomavirus.
