摘要: Abstract In the Mg–Zn system it has been shown that addition of trace amounts Ca can have a substantial positive influence on precipitation process during artificial ageing. The microstructure modified alloy is more complex and much refined precipitate structure very stable for prolonged periods at elevated temperatures (⩽450 K), leading to significant improvement in creep resistance.
