摘要: Abstract This work proposes the development and study of a novel set fractal descriptors for texture analysis. These are obtained by exploring fractal-like relation among coefficients magnitudes particular type wavelet decomposition, to know, best basis selection. The proposed method is tested in classification three sets textures from literature: Brodatz, Vistex USPTex. also applied challenging real-world problem, which identification species plants Brazilian flora. results compared with other classical state-of-the-art demonstrate efficiency technique this task.
