摘要: The analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) is becoming widely used in clinical research to provide a window into autonomic control HR. This technique has been valuable elucidating the underpinnings panic disorder (PD), condition that marked by reports palpitations. A body emerged implicates relative reduction HRV and cardiac vagal tone PD, as indicated various measures. These data are consistent with symptoms attacks, well developmental evidence links high enhanced attention, effective emotion regulation, organismic responsivity. Implications these findings for nosology pathophysiology discussed. Reports reduced PD contrast portrayals excess lability anxiety. contradiction addressed context traditional homeostatic models versus systems perspective views physiologic essential overall stability.
