摘要: The paper mulberry is one of the multifunctional tree species in agroforestry systems and also commonly utilized traditional medicine China other Asian countries. However, little known about its molecular genetics, which hinders research on exploitation this valuable resource. To discern correlation between gene expression essential properties mulberry, we performed a transcriptomics analysis, assembling total 37,725 unigenes from 54,638,676 reads generated by RNA-seq. Among these, 22,692 showed greater than 60% similarity with genes species. lengths 13,566 annotated were longer 1,000 bp. Functional clustering analysis COG (Cluster Orthologous Groups) revealed that 17,184 are primarily involved transcription, translation, signal transduction, carbohydrate metabolism, secondary energy metabolism. GO (Gene Ontology) annotation suggests enrichment encoding antioxidant activity, transporter biosynthesis, metabolism stress response, 30,659 falling these categories. KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes) metabolic pathway 7,199 associated 119 pathways. In addition to basic enriched for plant pathogen interaction, flavonoid processes. Furthermore, differences transcriptomes leaf, stem root tissues analyzed 7,233 specifically expressed identified. This global provided novel insights mechanisms biosynthesis flavonoid, lignin cellulose, as well response biotic abiotic stresses including remediation contaminated soil mulberry.
