摘要: Contaminated drainage related to the leaching of soluble metals under near-neutral conditions, known as contaminated neutral (CND), may arise when metal species are at pH. Such a phenomenon has been sporadically observed in effluent from Tio mine waste-rock pile Quebec, Canada, particularly older sections pile, where Ni concentrations increasing with time. It postulated that is retained within fresh waste rock sorbed species, but ages, sorption sites become saturated and more released effluent. A field test program was initiated evaluate geochemical behavior rock. This paper presents numerical analysis CND generation cells including water flow multi-component transport reactions (e.g. sulfide oxidation, pH neutralization, sorption), using code MIN3P. The model able represent delay before seen effluent, caused by onto Fe-oxide particles. Once saturated, allows release into millerite dissolution, expressed shrinking core model. sensitivity indicated parameters significantly affected simulated results, so their selection should be based on sound independent or experimental data.
