摘要: Over the past decade, pediatric palliative medicine in United States has advanced to a remarkable degree. This article situates these changes general context of growth adult-focused medicine, and enumerates several landmark reports, studies, programmatic initiatives, professional developments that serve as milestones marking progress field, while also underscoring continuing need better educate families health care providers about what can offer patients, expand evidence base regarding specific interventions, further our abilities finance improve services.
