摘要: Ecological momentary assessment (EMA) has afforded several important advances in the field of alcohol research, including testing prominent models abuse etiology "high resolution." Using high-tech methods for signaling and/or assessment, such as mobile electronic diaries, personal data assistants, and smartphones, EMA approaches potentially can improve understanding precipitants drinking, drinking patterns, consequences. For example, been used to study complex patterns dynamic predictors near-real time. Compared with other methods, better sample capture changes these phenomena that occur relatively short time frames. also potential applications studying consequences use, physical, interpersonal, behavioral, legal problems. However, even all capabilities, research still is associated some limitations, measurement reactivity problems acceptability compliance. Despite electronically based are versatile capable capturing relevant a variety influences on both use Therefore, it will be exciting fully realize future technologies, particularly if costs reduced.
