摘要: Regulation of gene expression is central to many biological processes. Although reconstruction regulatory circuits from genomic data alone therefore desirable, this remains a major computational challenge. Comparative approaches that examine the conservation and divergence their components across strains species can help reconstruct as well provide insights into evolution processes adaptive contribution. In recent years, advances in tools have led wealth methods for such analysis at sequence, expression, pathway, module, entire network level. Here, we review developed study transcriptional networks using comparative genomics, sequence functional data. We highlight how these use evolutionary reliably detect estimate extent rate divergence. Finally, discuss promise open challenges linking phenotypic adaptation.
