Collective electron metamagnetism

摘要: Abstract It is shown, on the basis of collective electron model, that it may be possible to render certain paramagnetic substances ferromagnetic by application and subsequent removal sufficiently strong magnetic fields. The conditions for this effect occur are discussed then illustrated with particular reference palladium.
