摘要: Abstract Background . Leukocytes are associated with myocardial injury during reperfusion after ischemia. Short periods of leukocyte depletion result in persistent attenuation postischemic dysfunction. Methods Leukocyte was examined a canine model regional ischemia and reperfusion. The extracorporeal circuit cardioplegia circuits underwent by mechanical filtration. Animals were instrumented for baseline global function before 90-minute occlusion the left anterior descending coronary artery. Global at 5, 30, 60, 90 minutes 60-minute cardioplegic arrest using continuous blood assessed leukocyte-depleted (n = 9) control 10) groups. Results No significant difference between groups seen systemic counts, function, or water content. Endothelial significantly protected as response to both calcium ionophore (endothelial-dependent, receptor-independent relaxation: leukocyte-depleted, 72% ± 19% endothelin-induced constriction versus control, 46% 14%; p Conclusions Leukocyte-mediated endothelial can be attenuated
