International Cooperation on Airborne Forest Fire-Fighting:: Opportunities for Turkey and Greece

摘要: Although the research on forest fires and fire-fighting in different regions is continuously expanding, cooperation opportunities between countries still remains unexplored. This study aims to evaluate international airborne by concentrating Turkey Greece Aegean Coast. For this aim, number location of two counties’ current resources are figured out initial attack performances both measured. Considering each country separately, relocation suggested for improved service through mathematical programming models. Number locations an effective also case cooperation. Results show that, a cooperative system, total required decreasing compared non-cooperative one. Findings paper address gap especially Region. can provide viewpoint future multiple resource management, disaster fire-fighting.
