摘要: This chapter highlights the importance of Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANETs) in context smarter cities and roads, a topic that currently attracts significant academic, industrial, governmental planning, research, development efforts. In order for VANETs to become reality, very promising avenue is bring together multiple wireless technologies architectural design. Clustering can be employed designing such VANET architecture successfully uses different technologies. Moreover, as clustering addresses some VANETs' major challenges, scalability stability, it seems will have an important role desired vehicular connectivity roads future. presents comprehensive survey schemes research area, covering aspects never been addressed before structured manner. The presented this provides general classification algorithms, most advanced latest algorithms VANETs, addition, constitutes only work literature best authors' knowledge also reviews performance assessment algorithms.
