摘要: The pressure‐induced wavelength shift of laser excited fluorescence from samarium doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Sm:YAG) was measured up to 50 GPa at room temperature against the R1 ruby. intense peaks between 618 and 611 nm were analyzed as triplet, Y1, Y2, Y3, by curve fitting analysis using Lorentzian function. Y1 (λ0=618 nm) peak strongest 40 GPa, while Y2 (λ0=616 became above it. Based upon pressure dependency peaks, following scales are proposed: P=3.25×Δλ(Y1)–0.015×Δλ2(Y1); P=4.03×Δλ(Y2)–0.055×Δλ2(Y2). As dependence Sm:YAG is negligibly small, these will be useful for high experiments a diamond anvil cell.
