摘要: BACKGROUND: Hematopoietic growth factors (HGF) can suppress chemotherapy-induced programmed cell death (apoptosis) in hematopoietic cells. Although HGF modulate the expression of apoptosis-regulatory genes, including bcl-2, bax, and p21WAF1/CIP1 lines, few data address whether regulate these proteins primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML). MATERIALS AND METHODS: We evaluated samples from patients with AML presence absence HGF. The potential association HGF-induced changes levels inhibition apoptosis was further investigated. RESULTS: While a combination steel factor (SF) PIXY321 inhibited etoposide-induced 8/11 studied, Bcl-2 bax protein were unaffected by exposure to and/or etoposide. In contrast, enhanced basal 9/11 7/11 cases, respectively. several seen without up-regulation levels, suggesting that modulation is not required for HGF-mediated apoptosis. CONCLUSIONS: These indicate mediated through Bcl-2, levels.
