摘要: Evidence-based practice (EBP) requires clinicians to access, appraise and integrate research literature with clinical experience clients' perspectives. Currently, little is known about occupational therapists' attitudes EBP, their perception of implementation barriers or educational needs. A questionnaire reflecting these issues was sent a proportionate random sample 1491 members the national professional therapy association, OT AUSTRALIA. The completed by 649 (44%) participants. Occupational therapists were positive EBP most (96%) agreeing that important therapy. Although 56% used make decisions, more relied on (96%), information from continuing education (82%) colleagues (80%). Lack time, evidence skills identified as main EBP. Over half (52%) expressed strong interest in training, (80%) indicated an availability brief summaries evidence. Targeted initiatives, resources systems are needed support
