摘要: Numerous proteins contain domains that are enriched in glutamine and asparagine residues, aggregation of some these has been linked to both prion formation yeast a number human diseases. Unfortunately, predicting whether given glutamine/asparagine-rich protein will aggregate proven difficult. Here we describe recently developed algorithm designed predict the propensity proteins. We discuss basis for algorithm, its limitations, usage online downloadable versions algorithm.
