摘要: In this paper we evaluate the effect of applying peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction and digital pre-distortion (DPD) on radio frequency amplifiers when an orthogonal division multiplexing (OFDM) signal is used. The PAPR method, presented as a convex problem, based reshaping time domain by redistributing its energy in domain, with respect to constraints in-band out-of-band errors. DPD method consists modeling behavior amplifier using parallel Hammerstein model, then extracting inverse parameters indirect learning approach. cases where are applied separately combined, studied investigated. Power figures merit evaluated. A good performance shown combining both pre-processing techniques up certain operating point deteriorates. Solutions improve at strong compression suggested.
