摘要: Cloud resources and services are offered based on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that state usage terms penalties in case of violations. Although, there is a large body work the area SLA provisioning monitoring at infrastructure platform layers, SLAs usually assumed to be guaranteed application layer. However, challenging task due monitored metrics or layer cannot easily mapped required Sophisticated among those layers avoid costly maximize provider profit still an open research challenge. This paper proposes architecture named CASViD, which stands for Application Violation Detection architecture. CASViD monitors detects violations layer, includes tools resource allocation, scheduling, deployment. Different from most existing architectures, focuses level monitoring, relevant when multiple customers share same environment. We evaluate our real testbed using applications exhibit heterogeneous behaviors order investigate effective measurement intervals efficient different types. The achieved results show architecture, with low intrusion level, able monitor, detect violations, suggest various workloads.
