摘要: The derivation of neural progenitor cells from human embryonic stem (ES) is value both in the study early neurogenesis and creation an unlimited source donor for transplantation therapy. Here we report generation enriched expandable preparations proliferating progenitors ES cells. could differentiate vitro into three lineages--astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, mature neurons. When were transplanted ventricles newborn mouse brains, they incorporated large numbers host brain parenchyma, demonstrated widespread distribution, differentiated progeny lineages. migrated along established migratory tracks a region-specific manner, indicating that respond to local cues participate processes development. Our observations set stage future developments may allow use treatment neurological disorders.
