摘要: Coombs and Kao have conjectured that, given the distances between a set of points representing persons another objects, factor analytic methods can be used to recover locations objects. In present paper it is proved that conjecture applies, with some qualifications, squared rather than themselves. Possible applications scaling inventory responses are discussed.
