摘要: Grazing control has been reported to be effective for the of desertification in semi-arid regions. However, economic reasons often make complete inhibition grazing (complete exclosure) difficult carry out. applied Kerqin Sandy Lands, Inner Mongolia, China, by means seasonal exclosure, whereby is allowed from November April. The harvesting hay also once during September - October. aim study was evaluate effectiveness this exclosure on vegetation restoration. Species compositional data were obtained 356 quadrats and ordinated Detrended Correspondence Analysis (DCA). Ordination indicated that landform most important factor influencing species composition vegetation. Regardless type control, however, coverage, height richness higher at sites where had controlled, than lacking any control. Perennial dominant former while annual latter. Both shrub tree quite rare carried It concluded sufficient restore maintain grassland around area. When shrubby or needed such as fixing sands preventing sand dune remobilization, recommended.
