摘要: Dealing with the heat losses associated steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) experiments has been an issue for which different loss prevention techniques have developed and utilized in literature. The aim is to minimize amount of from porous medium surrounding environment. Excessive negatively affect quantifying energy requirements SAGD experiments. In this study, inverted-bell vacuum chamber was employed excessive while steam injected under superheating levels. Local temperatures along glass micromodels’ height width were recorded on a real time basis. Details our pore-scale visualization are described paper. According results presented, employing extremely low conditions resulted effective sense that convective element could be neglected. As result, radiation transfer only mechanism contributed surfaces. each pore-level experiment, overall consumption produce one unit mobile oil corrected based analysis process account additional volume condensed because loss. net cumulative consumed, losses, very good agreement predictions made theory its application performance process.
