摘要: Uncertainty around long-term droughts and water scarcity has been increasing as the impacts of El Nino cycles are felt globally. Understanding how effects these events manifested on ground in communities is particularly important if governments associated agencies to respond appropriately. Using a qualitative approach, this paper examines drought two rural towns Victoria, Australia, explores what lessons can be drawn from local experiences. The research suggests that previous responses by have largely ineffectual such, we question whether there need reshape institutional understandings adapting might mean. This research, therefore, seeks further discussion surrounding myriad challenges with it drawing locally situated knowledge inform future decision-making evolving field study.
