Phagocytosis of chloroplasts in Placida dendritica (Gastropoda: Sacoglossa)

摘要: Phagocytosis of algal chloroplasts by digestive gland cells in the sacoglossan opisthobranch Placida dendritica is described. It suggested that engulfment accomplished veils cytoplasm which are derived from elongating microvilli.
