摘要: Disclosed herein are immunogenic mutant Shiga-Like Toxin II variants and vaccines containing such toxins. The toxin comprises an SLT-IIv where the amino acid at position 167 in A subunit has been replaced by a differently charged that essentially maintains structure of native subunit. In preferred embodiment, glutamic is with glutamine. An analogous modification may also be made 170. used for edema disease swine.
